Camera Position is ten years old! The first episode of Camera Position was published February 5, 2006 and it’s been a wonderful decade of learning about photography, my listeners and myself.
A huge thank you to all of you listeners out there! I really appreciate your support and your participation in the Camera Position community.

Congratulations Jeff! I’m currently at episode 141 after watching listening to all episodes within the last two months. 🙂
I have a wish for a quick episode. Could you talk a bit about the cover image for camera position? You have used it since day one, put it on t-shirts, mugs and the likes and I even noticed it is a crop from another image because it showed up on a old episode where you were talking about the importance of tagging images and you searched for the key word clouds.
But apart from that I would like to know why you picked it, what does it make you feel and a bit of its history: where is it, when did you make it and how. I think it would be an easy way to briefly return 10 years in time to the first episodes where initially you had set to talk about images but quickly diverted into so much more!!! 🙂
Congratulations once more and bring on the next 10!!! 🙂
Fabricio! Thank you for your comment and for listening! I really appreciate it. That’s a great idea for an episode and I’ll put it in the hopper for an upcoming Camera Position. Great idea!
Congratulations on the 10th anniversary Jeff.
If camera manufacturers stopped making new models then your site would be one of the few photography sites left on the web with something to say about photography.
The next 10 will be just as interesting I’m sure
Wow… what a great comment, Mahn! Thank you! I’m glad you’ve found what we’ve talked about here to be useful… keep listening!
Better late than never… but I was just listening to this episode.
Congratulations Jeff and I wanted to let you know that your photography podcast is a welcome change from the usual technical, news and rumor podcasts mix out there. I have enjoyed every episode since I started listening about 5 years ago. I would love to continue to hear from you.
All the best and thank you for the time you are investing to make this wonderful podcast available for free.
Kind regards,
Robert
